Helping teenagers sleep better


  1. How much sleep does a teenager need to get? We need to we need to get 10 to 8 hours a night.

  2. What time do you wake up to get to school? ___7:10 What time do you go to sleep on average? __8:45_______  Calculate the times, does this give you enough sleep? 11 hours and 55 mins.
  3. Quality of Sleep: List four ways you can help your body get a quality night’s sleep (Most of this happens before bedtime!) You could drink some milk. You could read a book. You could go for run around the house or something like that.
  4. In your own words, why do you think it is important to get a good sleep each night? How do you think this will help you at school? If you a good night you could concentrate a lot better then you do now when you do not get enough sleep.
